Our story
Ana De Lemos and Jean-Yves Lacolle founded SYRES in the Paris region. Their ambition: to create an expert, responsive, agile, human and independent research institute, serving brands that truly want to understand their consumers.

SYRES is gradually establishing itself as a benchmark in cosmetic and hygiene testing, by developing innovative methodologies combining sensory, hedonic and behavioral evaluation.

Opening of an office in Singapore and membership in ESOMAR. SYRES becomes an international player, capable of supporting brands in Asian markets and around the world with the same high standards as in Europe.

SYRES has obtained ISO 9001 certification — a formal quality framework that structures all of our processes: recruitment, fieldwork, analysis, deliverables. This rigorous approach is audited annually.

Expansion into new areas: food supplements, pet testing, specific panels (families, ethnic groups, seniors). Creation of Club SYRES, a connected space for continuous interaction with our consumers.

Opening of the Testing Bar in Paris (16th arrondissement). An innovative space designed for close interaction between panelists and customer service, in the heart of Paris.

SYRES is permanently embedding its founding values in a responsible and measurable corporate policy. EcoVadis Gold Medal awarded in 2025 — top 5% worldwide.
